logo

If one thing was apparent at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas it was that tablets are going to be the hottest things this year. Hardware manufacturers have very evidently been focusing on this growing market considering the crop of tablets on display, each one with possessing unique features. It certainly helped that Apple was not present at the show, because this enabled other companies to show off their products.

Lenovo has quite a few tablets on show this year, but the ones that grabbed the most eyeballs were the Lenovo IdeaTab S2-10 and the IdeaPad YOGA. The Fujitsu ARROWS Tab Wi-Fi also garnered a lot of attention, mostly because of a demo that proved that it could work in spite of being immersed in water. The Toshiba Excite X-10 Android Tablet was also very interesting because of its 1.2GHz dual-core TI processor and other features that make it perfect for entertainment or work.

Android tablets have admittedly have experienced poor sales in the previous year, but going by the amazing products on display it is very obvious that these products will find plenty of buyers this year. Manufacturers have managed to pack in immense computing power and many features into frames that are getting progressively slimmer and sexier. In fact, many manufacturers of PCs are also exploring this market because of its immense potential.
